PM Appoints New Police Commissioner for Addis Ababa

Addis Ababa  June 26/2018 Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed appointed Major General Degfe Bedi as the new Commissioner of the Addis Ababa Police Commission. The Premier has also appointed assistance commissioner Hassen Negash and Zelalem Mengiste as deputy commissioners, Zeynu Jemal, Commissioner-General of the Federal Police Commission told ENA. The Prime Minister appointed the individual as per his authority bestowed upon him by law to assign police commissioners for Addis Ababa and Dire Dawa, the two chartered cities.
