Premier Abiy Arrives in Asmara

Addis Ababa July 8/2018 Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has arrived in Asmara and warmly welcomed by President Isayas Afewroki. The delegation led by Premier Abiy Ahmed consists of Foreign Minister Dr. Workeneh Gebeyehu, Speakers of Federation and House of Peoples’ Representatives Keria Ibrahim and Muferiat Kemal as well as Seyoum Awol Chief Administrator of Afar Regional State. The prospect of peace between the two brotherly people of Ethiopia and Eritrea is recently flourishing after Premier Abiy’s call for peace was welcomed by Eritrea. The fruitful discussions held between Premier Abiy and the Eritrean delegation has led to the steadfast visit of the two leaders. Both leaders are expected to discuss on wide ranges of bilateral and regional issues to flourish the already begun peace talks.
