Ethiopia’s Foreign Minister Holds Discussions With his Russian Counterpart

Addis Ababa November 9/2024 (ENA)- Ethiopia's Minister of Foreign Affairs Gedion Timothewos held fruitful discussions with Russia's Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov on November 8, 2024.

The two foreign ministers exchanged views on a wide range of bilateral, regional and international issues of mutual interest. 

 

Both sides agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation and utilize the untapped potential of their economic relations, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.  

The meeting took place ahead of the First Ministerial Conference of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum scheduled from 09-10 November 2024 in Sochi, Russia.
