Chinese Official Says, Ethiopia is Attractive Destination to Chinese Investors  

Addis Ababa, April 24, 2025 (ENA) --- Ethiopia’s Deputy Prime Minister Temesgen Tiruneh welcomed GAO Yunlong, Vice-Chairman of the CPPCC National Committee and Chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC) and his delegation.

The two sides discussed on deepening investment, economic development, and trade cooperation between Ethiopia and China.

On the occasion, Yunlong commended Ethiopia's ongoing development activities, especially in Addis Ababa.

 

“Honorable GAO Yunlong commended Ethiopia's ongoing development activities, especially our capital Addis Ababa, and told me that Addis Ababa has changed significantly,” Temesgen stated on social media post.

Yunlong also stated that Ethiopia is attractive to Chinese investors in the investment sector.

Temesgen added “We have reached a consensus that the strategic partnership between the two countries, which remains resilient in the face of changing circumstances, will be further enhanced in the economic sector,”
