Moroccan Royal Army Delegation Lauds Ethiopia’s Drone Technology Capability

Addis Ababa, April 26, 2025 (ENA) -- The delegation of Moroccan Royal Army has lauded Ethiopia for its achievements in building capabilities in drone technology.
A Moroccan Royal Army delegation led by General Mohamed Berrid, Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces and Commander of the Southern Zone, is on an official working visit to Ethiopia.
The delegation visited SkyWin Aeronautics Industries and the National Intelligence and Security Service (NISS).
Deputy Director General of NISS, Sisay Tola and other senior officials accompanied the delegation.
During the event, Colonel Major Salah Eddine Rizzoni, a representative of the Moroccan Royal Army Capacity Building, praised Ethiopia's advancements in the drone technology sector and expressed his delight at the opportunity to tour the SkyWin Aeronautics Industry.
He reiterated Morocco's commitment to enhancing cooperation with Ethiopia in multiple areas of security and intelligence.
“We visited SkyWin Aeronautics Industry. We were honored to be invited to visit this place. We fully surprised by the high professionalism of drone technology. We are looking forward to enhance and consolidate cooperation in this domain between our two countries.”
Salah emphasized that Ethiopia's initiatives in drone technology and technology transfer play a crucial role in bolstering national security and sovereignty.
"The drone production at SkyWin Aeronautics Industry is vital for safeguarding and monitoring national borders, conducting Special Forces operations, and supporting various military endeavors," he concluded.
