Over 22,000 Ethiopians Repatriated from Saudi Arabia During 4th Round of Repatriation Program   

Addis Ababa, April 27, 2025 (ENA) -- The Ministry of Women and Social Affairs has reported that over 22,000 Ethiopians, who were in difficult situation in Saudi Arabia, have successfully been returned to their homeland during the fourth round of repatriation program.  

The Ministry noted that 3,240 individuals were repatriated on nine flights in this week alone.

Of those who returned, 2,745 were men, 479 women, and 16 infants, with 210 of the returnees being minors under 18 years of age.

This fourth round repatriation program has been in progress since March 12, 2025, resulting in a total of 22,209 Ethiopians being able to come back home thus far.
